At The Refinery we seek out to be a light in our community and around the world. Through our Outreach Ministry we understand that there are different needs and goals for each endeavor we put our eyes on. At The Refinery, you are able to be a part of various activities where you can practice your gifts, while learning and growing in the love of Jesus Christ. Outreach for The Refinery includes praying for the sick, bringing a meal to a family, visiting those who need, or simply sharing a coffee with a friend.
What we Support:
Locally:
- The Refinery is a regular contributor to the Bain Elementary School Food Pantry. Here we have been able to provide bags of groceries, including turkey dinners and clothing, to and meet the needs of families right here in our community for holidays and throughout the year.
- Joseph’s Food Pantry: The Refinery Church started a mission right out of our location. We call it Joseph’s Food Pantry. Here we provide for the physical and spiritual needs of those in our community by providing compassionate and practical help to all those in need including the temporarily unemployed, the disabled, the homeless and the elderly of our community. Global Missions: Jesus said to “go out and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19). At The Refinery we are actively supporting various missions around the world and here in our own area.
